Franz Ferdinand – “Tonight”

Review: Recién filtrado a la red nos llega el esperado regreso de estos escoceses que, para mi muy personal gusto y con sólo una escuchada, me parece que no llena las expectativas de sus anteriores producciones. Si bien se nota que Franz se esmeró por actualizar su sonido, el resultado parece que se les salió de control; la mayoría de los tracks carecen de la chispa que los hizo famosos, hasta podría afirmar que está sobreproducido. Vamos a ver si la cosa cambia con un par de vueltas más.

En Rolling Stone Argentina, publican la historia de Tomás Escobar, el cordobés responsable de la creación de Cuevana. Este Zuckerberg a la tercermundista, comenzó el sitio como un simple hobby y ya se retiró de la universidad para intentar que su pasatiempo derivado en amenaza (judicial) de bomba, sobreviva en la red. Con un ojo en el caso contra Taringa, Tomás ahora vive en la capital federal dedicado a convertir su plataforma en algo sólido y menos para-legal. Ya se peleó con algunos de los amigos con los que comenzó el negocio, hay acusaciones de traición y esto promete mas.

Lo de Jimmy Fallon ya es otra cosa, se lanzó con Justin Timberlake otro sketch de la historia del Hip Hop. Este tipo está muy cómodo en los zapatos que le dieron. Pero hagan la tarea completa y lleguen al final del clip para que vean que no hay una sola persona de color en todo el estudio a excepción de la banda, los magistrales The Roots.

Vemos con envidia en el sitio chileno Disorder.cl el primer capítulo de la renovada versión de Beavis and Butthead. sin subtítulos, pero ya saben como es esto del inglés en la web.
